About AI Ads Tracker

AI assistants are becoming an ad channel. ChatGPT, Google, Microsoft and Amazon now sell placements inside AI answers, other companies have pledged never to, and the rules change almost weekly. AI Ads Tracker keeps one sourced, dated record of where things stand, for marketers deciding where to spend, for reporters covering the shift, and for anyone who wants to know whether the assistant they use shows ads.

What we cover

Paid placements inside or attached to AI assistant answers: formats, how they're bought, where they're available and what changes. We don't cover AI tools that make ads, or organic visibility in AI answers.
